A-K Valley's Mortgage Escrow Account is designed to allow members a way to accumulate the funds to pay their mortgage taxes and insurance in an interest bearing account. Accounts with a $100 or more balance earn interest. Check out our current rate information.
Members may deposit funds into this account for county, township, and school taxes as well as homeowner's insurance. The funds can be withdrawn by submitting a bill for the taxes or insurance, at which time the credit union will send a check to the appropriate payee. This is an optional account only for those members who wish to have a way to save money for the specific reason of paying their taxes and homeowner's insurance.
