The employees of A-K Valley FCU are making strides against cancer!

The A-K Valley FCU “$uper $avers” are participating in two Relay for Life events this summer:

CONGRATULATIONS to Susan Lutman for winning 2 Steelers Tickets to the Season Home Opener VS. Houston on Sunday, September 7, 2008. 

We thank all who participated in this prize raffle to help benefit the American Cancer Society!

Our involvement is another way we fulfill our pledge to simplify lives of our members. That's one reason we focus our donations in the geographic areas that our charter covers.

Do our community involvement goals align with yours?

 

 

We believe our “best fit” opportunities for Community Involvement reach a broad spectrum of residents, with emphasis in three primary areas:

 

1.)                Youth and Financial Literacy

2.)                Health and Wellness

3.)                Chamber of Commerce and Community Relationships.

 

We give primary consideration to non-profit organizations in support of programs that directly relate to simplifying peoples’ lives and that help participants be “one step ahead” in critical areas of life.

 

Our guidelines help A-K Valley Federal Credit Union assure that donations are used in ways that best serve the majority of our membership. These guidelines may not cover every possibility, special need or opportunity, and A-K Valley FCU may make exceptions when considering donations. We will not make corporate donations that directly benefit an individual, or to organizations with political initiatives or affiliations.

 

·         Use our Community Involvement Request Form to submit your requests via email at least 90 days in advance of your event or program.

·         If you prefer, you may complete the Community Involvement Request Form , print it and mail it to the address below, along with additional information supporting your organization and event.
